Yup, that ol' bag is getting ready for a swim in the ol' washing machine. I am almost done with my buttonhole bag. It's a quick knit!
I think I really love this yarn for my wool projects (meaning felted projects). I don't think I could ever knit a garment out of *wool* wool, you know? Maybe something soft and yummy like baby alpaca or merino/silk blend, but not *wool* wool. But Lamb's Pride would make a great Kitty Pi Bed for my sweet little Frisky Face.
Oky doky...post felting pics to follow!
I love your beasts. And the start of your kitty pi. I guess it's time for me to stop hesitating and make one for my cats, too! Nice blog. Are you happy with typepad?

Cute bag! I find Lamb's Pride to be itchy! I made a hat and scarf out of the Bulky, and it's itchy. I can wear it on really cold days without problems but if it's not that cold, it's itchy. I do like Cascade 220, even for sweaters. I can wear it pretty easily because it's soft. I've used it for all my felting so far too.
Let's see, for your next big project...I know you said you weren't up to Clapotis but I'm here to give the Clap pep talk. It's one of my favorite things I've knit so far! The pattern is a bit wordy which makes it look more complicated and detailed that it is but it's simple, especially once you get the hang of it. Dropping stitches is fun! It didn't take me that long to do at all.
Part of this is selfish. I want to see what your Clap looks like in the KnitPicks yarns before I order them to make the same thing as a gift. :)
